Paolo Di Canio's Famous Referee Push

Sheffield Wednesday-v-Arsenal at Hillsborough in the English Premier League. Two hilarious things to look out for here:
First - the softest referee in the history of football gives Di Canio a red card. Cue Di Canio's push and the most embarrassing fall to the ground any soccer fan has ever witnessed.
Second - As Di Canio marches off in an Italian rage, Arsenal's Nigel Winterburn tries to incite him but suddenly flinches when he thinks Di Canio is going to hit him. Priceless!

Half Million Dollar Shot Prank

In case you are not American, the idea behind the half million dollar shot is simple: at half-time during a basketball game, a lucky member of the audience is invited to take one shot from the half court line. The catch? They have to do it blindfolded! Here's a little twist on the idea by CollegeHumor.com - The Half Million Dollar Shot Prank - from their Prank War series:

And here's where the Half Million Dollar Shot Prank goes wrong!!

Apparently, the organizer felt so bad they didn't have the money for the guy that they bought him front row seats at an NBA game!!

Marathon Runner Goes Wrong Way At End of Race

Being from London, most runners who take part in the London Marathon take about 3 hours to complete the 26 mile course. These guys competing in the Tokyo-Hakone relay marathon have been running for over 11 hours!!

According to Yahoo Sport, "With less than 200 metres left in the two-day marathon competed between Japanese universities, Japanese runner Natsuki Terada was in eighth place with four runners contesting the three spots that would secure entry for next year."

About World Sport Bloopers

World Sport Bloopers was created following the frustration of using video sites. Many offered videos that were filed under 'funny' or 'humor' but were not specific to sport. It required a lot of searching to find what we wanted. Even when you found the video, it was often edited poorly or inserted in a news segment so it had less impact.

World Sport Bloopers is inspired by UK shows like Fantasy Football (hosted by comedians David Baddiel and Frank Skinner), the eccentric Frenchman Remi Gaillard and US shows like Jackass. We aim to bring you the best bloopers, fails and WTF moments. We hope you enjoy the site!!
