Fulham FC Unveil Michael Jackson Statue

ENGLAND - Mohammed Al Fayed (owner of Fulham FC) told fans this week that they could "go to hell" if they do not appreciate a new Michael Jackson statue that was unveiled at Craven Cottage stadium.

According to the BBC, the statue was commissioned following Jackson's death in June 2009 and was due to be erected at Harrods before Mr Al Fayed sold the Knightsbridge store.

What is totally bizarre is the fact that Michael Jackson's Fulham FC record reads:

Games played: 0
Goals scored: 0
Last game attended: 1999

Al Fayed clearly should have erected the statue in Harrod's but to commemorate a pop star outside a football stadium just seems weird. One Fulham fan even thought it was an April Fool's joke.

About World Sport Bloopers

World Sport Bloopers was created following the frustration of using video sites. Many offered videos that were filed under 'funny' or 'humor' but were not specific to sport. It required a lot of searching to find what we wanted. Even when you found the video, it was often edited poorly or inserted in a news segment so it had less impact.

World Sport Bloopers is inspired by UK shows like Fantasy Football (hosted by comedians David Baddiel and Frank Skinner), the eccentric Frenchman Remi Gaillard and US shows like Jackass. We aim to bring you the best bloopers, fails and WTF moments. We hope you enjoy the site!!
